New Visiting Schedule at the Nursing Home

The care and safety of the Resident is optimal in Summerville Healthcare. As individuals, every one of us are entitled to privacy and dignity in particular during personal care and meal times.
It has been observed and highlighted that maintaining privacy and dignity during said times has been challenging when ‘open’ visiting hours are in place.
Following discussion with Residents and staff it was agreed to introduce a visiting schedule.
From Monday 4th February 2013 the following visiting schedule will be put in place.
Monday to Sunday

• 10:30AM to 12:30PM 
• 2PM to 4:30PM
• 6PM to 9:30PM

However the visiting schedule will not apply for those residents who are poorly and are in need of family assistance and support; this can be discussed with the Director of Nursing.
The visiting schedule is being introduced in order for Summerville to maintain high standards of Resident care; we hope that you will embrace this change.
